Pastor Brian Dunlop has faithfully led Lighthouse Baptist Church since 1994. A 1982 graduate of Pacific Coast Baptist Bible College (San Dimas, CA), he served as Youth Director for 12 years before the church called him to be the Senior Pastor. Pastor Dunlop has been married to Daun since 1983. God has blessed them with five children, all of whom serve in some aspect of the church ministry.
Pastor Dunlop’s influence extends beyond our local ministry. He is a frequent speaker across the nation in revival meetings, marriage/family conferences, creation seminars, and youth camps. His numerous missions trips (including Chile, Fiji, Mexico, Armenia, Cambodia and others) have given him a unique global perspective for the gospel.
With a special burden for the next generation of preachers and Christian servants, Pastor Dunlop has been used of God in the Bible College ministry. He was instrumental in the founding of Pacific Baptist College in 1998 and served as the Chairman of the Co-operating Council from 1998-2015. He currently serves as the school’s President while retaining his teaching ministry to it’s students. Courses he teaches include Apologetics and World Religions, Youth Programs, Ethics, and Cults.
Pastor Dunlop’s dynamic preaching is poignant, relevant, and scriptural. The pulpit of Lighthouse Baptist Church has been a source of hope for the lost, comfort in time of need, inspiration to grow, and practicality for everyday living.
